He was a member of Shonen-ji temple in Komatsu town in Japan and moved to Hawaii on December 26th, 1902. Since his arrival he has been a very dedicated member, who has taken care of the church and the community in the hope of spreading Jodo religion. In July last year (1932) when grand priest Sakai made a visit, he and his wife received higher teachings.
