Since his arrival in Hawaii in April 1902 he has lived here over 30 years, during which time he served the church and its school with so much enthusiasm. He assisted the service when grand priests Kami-i, Itsushima and Sakai made their visits, and received higher teachings from grand priest Kami-i. He continues to serve as an administrator at the school.
