Chin Chuck Genjiro Camp

Location:  About 2 miles mauka of the 2 Hakalau Camps, up Chin Chuck Road on the right.  

Camp size: About 20 dwellings (mostly still occupied), a clubhouse and a poolhall.

Time period: The map dates to 1947.  House photos date to the early '50s and Occupant list dates to the early ‘60s.

Usually just called “Chin Chuck Camp”.   There were vegetable gardens in the back of the camp and pig pens in back of the gardens.
